Grooming policy

*To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets under our care, we require proof of a valid rabies vaccine at a minimum. Additionally, we highly recommend the bordetella and canine flu vaccines, irrespective of your dog's socialization habits.

 

If you find it necessary to cancel or reschedule a grooming appointment, kindly contact us at 516-591-3819 the day before and prior to closing.

 

Late cancellations, within the last minute, will incur a $50 fee per dog. No-shows will result in a $75 fee per dog. A 50% deposit will be mandatory for any future bookings.

 

Please be aware that a $5-$10 fee may apply if your dog soils themselves during the grooming process, requiring an additional bath.

 

In the unfortunate event of your dog biting our groomers, you will be held accountable for injury costs. It is crucial to inform us of any previous incidents and to communicate any sensitive areas for your dog.

 

Exceeding a 10-minute lateness will prompt a warning, and after three warnings, a $5 late fee will be added.

 

Emails are essential for grooming appointment confirmation.

 

For appointments involving more than one dog, a credit card is required to collect a 50% deposit, which will contribute to the overall total. Failure to show will result in retaining the 50% deposit.

 

Our groomers focus on one dog at a time, with the grooming process taking between 1.5-2 hours. A notification call/text will be sent 20-30 minutes before completion, and you will be promptly informed if additional time is necessary.

 

We refrain from crating or caging dogs unless their allotted pick-up time expires.
